Role scope
We are looking for a 5G/6G Test Engineer to verify and validate our advanced telecom solutions. You will design and execute test strategies for RAN, Core, and O-RAN components, ensuring compliance with 3GPP, O-RAN, and ETSI standards, as well as meeting performance, reliability, and interoperability requirements.

Work model: only in a hybrid/onsite model (2–3 days from the office).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for functional, integration, performance, and interoperability testing.

• Validate 5G NR and O-RAN network elements (CU, DU, RIC, Core) against 3GPP/O-RAN/ETSI specifications.

• Use test tools (Viavi, Amarisoft, Keysight, Wireshark, Tems Investigation), to simulate network conditions and analyze results.

• Automate test cases using scripting languages (Python, Bash) and CI/CD integration.

• Perform field tests, regression, conformance, and stress testing for new features and software releases.

• Collaborate with protocol engineers, system architects, delivery and integration engineers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.

• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mobile network protocols (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, NGAP, O-RAN interfaces).

• Hands-on experience with telecom testing tools (like TESM Investigation, Wireshark) and environments.

• Familiarity with Linux systems, adb and scripting for test automation.

• Understanding of 3GPP, O-RAN, and ETSI standardization frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Very good English (spoken/written).

• Hybrid/onsite — minimum 2-3 days per week in the office.
